Warranty & Return Policies

30-day, Money-back Guarantee:

All PPCTechs.com products come with a 30-day, money-back guarantee unless otherwise stated. All products may be returned within 30 days from the original sales invoice date for a full refund or exchange, excluding shipping charges.

Warranty:

All warranties apply only for the time period specified to each product line, repair and/or upgrade. All warranty periods begin on the original date of purchase shown on the sales invoice. Waranty periods are not extended if a warranty replacement is issued for a product. Warranty periods for PPCTechs.com products vary by product lines as follows:

90-Day Limited Warranty Products:

  • All Pocket PC repairs, services and upgrades
  • Headset/audio adapters
  • Lil' Fonz Retractable Stereo Earbuds
  • Lil' Sync Retractable Sync-N-Charge Cables
  • Enhanced Stylii
  • WriteSHIELD Premium Screen Protectors

180-Day Limited Warranty Products:

  • Lil' Sync® Pro Retractable Sync-N-Charge Cables
  • Lil' Sync® Pro Retractable Sync-N-Charge Cable Accessories

1-Year Limited Prorated Warranty Products:.

  • Replacement Battery Packs*

*If a replacement battery pack fails within the first 90 days, the repair/replacement is fully covered.  From 91 - 365 days, the remainder of the warranty is prorated by 30 day periods.  You will receive the appropriate, calculated discount off of a new replacement battery as follows:

  • Month 4 -- 70%
  • Month 5 -- 60%
  • Month 6 -- 50%
  • Month 7 -- 40%
  • Month 8 -- 30%
  • Month 9 -- 25%
  • Month 10 -- 20%
  • Month 11 -- 15%
  • Month 12 -- 10%

Limited Warranty Terms and Conditions:

PPCTechs.com warrants to the original purchaser that its products are free from defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty does not cover accidental damage, misuse, improper care or alteration, or natural disasters such as floods and earthquakes. This warranty lasts as long as the original purchaser owns the product. Coverage terminates if the original purchaser sells or otherwise transfers the product. If, after inspection, PPCTechs.com finds that the product is defective in materials or workmanship, PPCTechs.com, at its own discretion, will repair or replace the product and return the product to the purchaser. There is no charge for the inspection or the return postage. This warranty excludes claims for incidently or consequential damages in connection with the warranty problem. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives the purchaser specific legal rights, include other rights which may vary from state to state, or country to country.

Pocket PC Repairs and Upgrades:

PPCTechs.com offers a 90-day warranty on parts and labor for all repairs. For all upgrades, the motherboard of the purchaser's Pocket PC is covered under the 90-day warranty. This warranty excludes the battery and physical damage, such as to the screen and/or cosmetic housing of the device. Repairs and upgrades performed by PPCTechs.com will void your original manufacturer's warranty.

If the purchaser's unit has a failure of any kind, including ROM upgrade failures, please contact PPCTechs.com first, as the warranty would then be through PPCTechs.com and not through the original manufacturer of the device. If the device is sent to the original manufacturer for any type of repair, the memory upgrade will be lost and the purchaser will be charged for any repairs made to the device.

Returning Merchandise:

General Return Procedure:

All products returned for refund or exchange must include the original packaging and accessories.

  1. PPCTechs.com will process returns and refunds only for products purchased directly from PPCTechs.com.
  2. All products must be in new, resalable condition with all accessories included in the original packaging.
  3. Keep the original box/package for all returns.
  4. PPCTechs.com may refuse a refund request if the product is not returned with its complete accessories and packaging.

We cannot accept returns under the following circumstances:

  1. Any product that is returned more than 30 days after the date of the sales invoice.
  2. Any product that is damaged, missing parts or not in its original condition.
  3. Any WriteSHIELD screen protector that has been used or had the backing peel-off portion removed.

All returns to PPCTechs.com must be shipped freight prepaid. PPCTechs.com will not accept C.O.D. or freight collect returns. It is recommended that you ship through a courier that will provide a tracking number.

If a shipment is refused or returned due to an error in the purchaser's address as entered on the purchaser's web order, the purchaser will be charged for the shipping fee again for the order to be re-sent.

If PPCTechs.com ships an incorrect product(s) due to an error made by the purchaser, the purchaser will be charged the shipping fee again for the exchanged product(s) to be re-sent.

Returning Defective Products:

  1. PPCTechs.com will process returns only for products purchased directly from PPCTechs.com and its authorized resellers.
  2. To return a defective product(s), please e-mail [email protected] within the 30-day return policy period. Please include your name, invoice number and the reason for the return. In addition, please specify if requesting either a replacement or a credit.
  3. Please ship the defective product(s) to PPCTechs.com with your name, invoice number and the reason for return included in the package.
  4. Once the product(s) is received, the purchaser will be notified via e-mail. PPCTechs.com technicians will then inspect the product(s) and a customer service representative will process the return.
  5. The product(s) replacement will be shipped promptly at no extra shipping cost in compensation for any inconvenience that may have been caused due to product failure. The shipping method used is at the discretion of PPCTechs.com and will depend on the product/urgency.
  6. If a credit is requested, please allow seven business days for the credit to apprear on the credit card or PayPal account.

Exchanging Merchandise:

General Exchange Procedure:

  1. PPCTechs.com will process exchanges only for products purchased directly from PPCTechs.com and its authorized resellers.
  2. To exchange a product(s), please e-mail PPCTechs.com at [email protected] within the 30-day return policy period. Please include your name, invoice number and reason for the exchange.
  3. Please ship the product(s) to PPCTechs.com with your name, invoice number and reason for the exchange included in the package.
  4. The exchange can only be processed after the returned product(s) has been received and processed.

Exchanging Defective Products:

  1. PPCTechs.com will process exchanges of defective products only for products purchased directly from PPCTechs.com and its authorized resellers.
  2. To notify PPCTechs.com that you have received a defective product, please e-mail PPCTechs.com at [email protected] within the 30-day return policy period. Please include your name, invoice number and the problem you are experiencing with your defective product.
  3. PPCTechs.com will then authorize a replacement product to be sent out under warranty. PPCTechs.com will include address labels and return USPS First Class Mail postage so the purchaser can send the defective product(s) back to PPCTechs.com.
  4. The purchaser will receive an electronic invoice with a zero balance.
  5. The purchaser will receive an e-mail confirming the shipment of the replacement product(s). All warranty replacement will be sent via USPS First Class Mail.
  6. The purchaser must send the defective product(s) back to PPCTechs.com, for inventory purposes, using the return postage and labels provided.
